A re-introduction, and heart horse valentines.
Valentine's Day greetings from artist Maria DeCerce

Hi there,
Happy Valentine’s Day! You’re receiving this email because you signed up for my newsletter. Perhaps you received my previous email long ago before I got a little too busy with freelance contracts and practically forgot I had a mailing list. Or maybe you just recently signed up. Either way, welcome to my art newsletter!
( I’m popping into your inbox for the first time in quite a while, so if you’re no longer interested in receiving my newsletter, you can unsubscribe here. No hard feelings.)
Let me reintroduce myself:
Hi! :)

I’m Maria, a freelance illustrator specializing in fun character-driven illustrations about animals and nature.
Here is one of my favorite illustrations I’ve done:
You can see my portfolio website here: www.MariaDeCerce.com
If you’ve got an upcoming project in need of an illustrator and are interested in working with me, feel free to reply to this email. I’d love to discuss how I can help!
I’m starting off the revival of my newsletter with great news if you love horses or know someone who does - I’m launching a new shop for horse lovers: Weird Horse Girl Co.
As you can tell from my portfolio, I’m a total horse girl! So I’m building this shop to turn all the horses I draw in my free time into stationery, home decor, and other fun products.
If you’d like to be notified when more products launch, you can sign up to get on my shop’s email list.
Here’s my process for WHG’s very first product - Cute, printable Valentine cards.

My initial idea for the designs was themed around the 5 Love Languages, with a horsey twist. However, once everything was sketched out, they came across as kind of odd to give out as a Valentine’s card message, and confusing if you didn’t know what the 5 Love Languages are (a jumping-off point at least).

So I replaced the text with a few corny Equestrian/Valentine’s puns, and I think they turned out pretty cute!

Today’s the perfect day to download the pdf and print/cut them out if you’ve been wanting to gift little cards with cute horse drawings on them. Click the button below.
If you’re feeling over-horsed (an actual term in the equestrian world), I do draw lots of other animals! Check out my work at www.MariaDeCerce.com
You can always reply to this email if you’d like to learn more about how I can help you and your business.
Until next time,
I hope you have a lovely day! ❤️
